Company Purpose

Raffoul Consulting is an engineering consultancy employing a team of engineers with decades of experience in the built environment. By using our experience and expertise we first ensure our clients understand the scope and extent of services they require to achieve their goal. This approach ensures the services we delivery have a quality and fitness for purpose that are centred on the Client's needs.

Our Approach

Raffoul Consulting strives to add value at every stage of the design process. From Initial feasibility assessments, to navigating the planning system and/or delivery of concise construction stage design information we ensure to add value at every opportunity.

Identifying and communicating the fundamental development priorities to the team at project inception is the essential first step to any successful project.

Only after the priorities are fixed can the principles of “Total Architecture” be implemented in the design process. This philosophy ensures the creation of design which is in harmony with the site constraints and preferred construction methodology. Designs which follow this approach have a fitness for purpose which realise benefits for the client both during construction and operation.

Who We Are

Dr Samar Raffoul has a Phd in Engineering from the University of Sheffield and is currently a Research Fellow in the school of Civil Engineering at University College Dublin. She has a combined experience of 12 years in R&D and Industry. Her areas of expertise are concrete, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and Disproportionate Collapse of Structures. Samar's current research focus is on increasing the adoption of MMC in the Irish residential sector

Con Murray has an MSc in Structural Engineering from University of Manchester. He is a Chartered Engineer with both the Institution of Structural Engineers and Engineers Ireland. He has 14 years experience in Engineering Consultancy and Construction Management.
